ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya sends relief packs to farmers and IPs in Aurora and Ifugao

 ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya, through PhilDHRRA Luzon, sent relief packs to farmers and indigeneous peoples in Casiguran, Aurora and Kiangan, Ifugao whose farms and homes were destroyed by typhoons Pedring and Quiel.

Dear Partners, Friends, and Colleagues:

PhilDHRRA Luzon continues to enjoin you in its disaster relief efforts to reach at least 800 farming households and indigenous people in Ifugao, Cagayan, and Aurora.
 
At least 475 families in Amulong, Cagayan are still isolated. In Casiguran, Aurora, there are at least 200 farmers and IPs whose farms and homes were destroyed by typhoons Pedring and Quiel. 26 families in Brgy. Esteves, Casiguran, Aurora have lost their homes. In Banaue, Ifugao, there are at least 179 rice farmers who were severely affected.
 
While rehabilitation support is crucial, immediate support of food and clothing would be very helpful.
