Barangay Salag is located in the hinterland of the municipality of Tabogon. It is ten (10) kilometers away from Tabogon proper.  Margarita Tantiado, 53 years old and resident of Barangay Salag, was one of the beneficiaries of Action Aid who received rice support after typhoon Ruby.

Marami nang nabiyaan ng lupa ang CARP kaya lalong dapat tapusin ang pamamahagi ng lupa!” (Honorable representatives who oppose CARP, you are the main reason why sugar farmers like us remain landless and poor. Many have benefited from CARP so land distribution must be completed!)
